Professional Associations
Below are a few organizations I volunteered for and some I would like be a part of in the future.

Pensylvania Horticulture Society
PHS believes in the power of horticulture to make positive social and environmental change. As a community, we invest our time, passion, and money into public gardens and landscapes that further our cause.

Interaction Design Association
The Interaction Design Association (IxDA) is a member-supported organization dedicated to the discipline of interaction design. Since its launch in 2003, IxDA has grown into a network of more than 150,000 individuals with local groups around the globe, focusing on interaction design issues for the practitioner, no matter their level of experience.

Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction
The ACM Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (SIGCHI) is the world's largest association of professionals who contribute towards the research and practice of human-computer interaction (HCI). We are an interdisciplinary group of computer scientists, software engineers, psychologists, interaction designers, graphic designers, sociologists, multi-media designers, information scientists, and anthropologists, just to name some of the domains whose special expertise come to bear in this area. What brings us together is a shared understanding that designing useful and usable technology is an interdisciplinary process, and when done properly it has the power to transform lives.

The Association of Data Scientists
Association of Data Scientists will lead in the development, dissemination and implementation of knowledge, basic and applied research and technologies in analytics, decision-making, and management.
